Big Boi's success was being part of a group :usure:

Notorious BIG don't count :youngsabo:

But let's look at the rest:
Big L [1 gold album, 1 top 40 hit]
Big Noyd [no plaques]
Big Pun [1 plat album, 1 gold album, 1 top-40 hit]
Big Boi's solo career
Big Daddy Kane [2 gold albums, 1 top-40 hit]

Big Sean: [3 gold singles, 1 platinum single, 1 multi-plat single]

This little dude got more plaques in two years than these real "big"'s :win:

You can't discount Biggie
Big Pun was more successful
Big Daddy Kane is one of the greatest of all time...I'm confused by your thread:ld:

Biggie's "Big" came in the second part of his name.

Big Pun might've been more successful, but not in terms of plaques.

Big Daddy Kane is one of the GOATs, but he doesn't even have a platinum album :merchant:

I'm talking about sales figures and charts because that's what us rap fans love to bicker about, right :bryan:

Yeah even using that criteria, a platinum single, a couple gold singles, and an album that didn't even go gold doesn't trump a platinum album, gold album, and a classic hit single (Still Not a Player)...

This thread is stupid as fukk. You're manipulating way too many variables and creating way too many silly rules to make Big Sean seems more successful than he actually is in comparison to Pun, Biggie, etc.
