How Do You Avoid Overheating During Cardio

Working cardio lately and i wanna go harder but im overheating which is making me want to throw up. Took my ass to a toilet in 24 hour fitness yesterday and squatted in front of a nasty toilet thinkin i was about to lose it. I didnt but i just left after that. Why cant i just be tired n winded. How do you avoid overheating which leads to this nausea.

What do u wear during (pause) and are u hydrated properly?

I figured it out. It was my clothes and lack of hydration. Drank 32 ounces an hour before i worked out and dressed lighter. I had a sweat jacket on during my workout and it broke me down. Got through my workout ok today. Had a bottle of cold water on deck while i did these 100 burpees :whoo:

Damn this was happening to me and i thought it was the preworkout drink i had but then i worked out without it and the same thing happened. I thought i was gonna pass out.

you don't even need to drink a lot at once. just take a few sips here and there during your workout and you'll be good.

more bananas and potassium rich foods or supplements to help manage your fluid levels. and a lil sodium but not too much(raises BP levels).

you have to make sure you're properly hydrated at least 12 hours prior. Drinking fluids Tuesday afternoon and Tuesday night set you up for Wednesday morning runs.
I use to only eat fruit and kept my pre workout meals light on cardio days. Drinking a lot of water prior to running doesn't do anything. I use to do my ab routine prior to running as well :manny:
