I've never been into gym, but I'm pretty slim naturally. Think its time gain a few pounds of muscle. Few months ago I did the 1st month of P90X but I was moving across states and stopped when I moved.

Its tough because since I've never been in the gym I don't know what to do

:yeshrug:

Thinking about hiring this personal trainer to get my started out for a couple months to get me on track. I live in Miami and this dude who also goes to my barbershop provides personal training for $40 a session.

5 minutes from Brickell, considered Miami River District

i used one last summer during my physical rehab on my neck..she was great...really focus on my core workouts and get even stronger in that area

That's whats up, I'm thinking I'd only try for once a week, $40 a session can add up if multiple times a week

Know your goals and look up online to see how to reach them. Look up meals, workouts and such. Also look at what the pros at your gym do, and follow suit. You don't really need a trainer breh.

I live in Hollywood, so u too far off. Otherwise, I would work out with u for free

I would research or get a reference for someone that actually knows what the hell they are talking about. Most of the ones at the gyms are terrible.

No need for a trainer unless money's no object and you really are too busy or too ignorant to learn, absorb, and implement useful nutritional and fitness information on your own, and stay motivated and disciplined by yourself.

And that's coming from a personal trainer.

Yea I did the math and $40 a session isn't worth it. Miami already hitting me hard in rent no need to add this extra expense. 'Preciate the advice.

They are good for motivation and to ensure proper form, pro athletes don't exercise by themselves, they understand to get your body or strength to the next level you need a motivator and another eye to ensure proper technique.

Just make sure she is sexy.

you shouldnt seek a trainer unless you know you lack the confidence, drive, and desire to be better than you were previously

changing yourself always comes from within, a trainer cant fix that aspect of you they can only put you on the path but only the gym goer can walk it

Save yourself a ton of money and do some research yourself. $40 a session? 10 sessions and that's $400. If you're going to be serious about making any kind of gains, then you will have to hit the gym regularly... Are you really comfortable paying a car note a month for someone to give you information you can find for free online?
