HOW do yall COOK your GRITS?

I recently started cooking them using Better than Bouilin chicken Base and :ohlawd:

And then the KerryGold garlic and herb butter :wow:


Imm try cooking them in milk to see if they come out creamier.


Salty Grits is the way to go...I can't believe I used to make em sweet once upon a time.

Little bit of sugar and butter. Or with just butter if I'm eating it with something else. Rather eat oatmeal than grits though

You can cook them in straight water and then at the end of regular cooking process, add some heavy cream. Doesn't take a whole lot. Mix that in when you take it off the heat.

Word I got heavy whipping cream due to butter chicken. I make that like 2 times a month :pachaha:
