How do put my brother in-law who's not a nerd on to Game of Thrones?

Most of us who watch Game of Thrones are introverts. We played Dota, Runescape, wow, and D&D. We've seen every lord of the rings film(the extended versions), we hate the Star Wars prequels, we play video games, never had sex before, etc..

My brother in-law is one of those jocks who played football in college, he drinks, he's real sociable guy.

I keep telling him how good this show is but he saw the preview on demand saw some dragons and told me he's not watching it.

How do I convince him?

Dont:yeshrug:

But you can show/tell him about the nudity, violence, and just overall fukkery.

Leave an episode on when hes at the house one day.

My homie is like him and he stumbled on it and is hooked.

nikka is spending the week to catch up in his free time

He doesn't deserve the show. You shouldn't have to force it on people.

I bought one of my uncle's the first season of The Wire. Was prepared to get him more. He said he didn't like it, said it was too slow. I just waved it off. If you don't know, you don't know.

Kinda feel the same way. If someone can't be assed to check out something incredibly popular AND critically acclaimed, whatever. Their loss.

I'm literally none of those things :heh:

I started watching GoT on a whim, pretty much stepped out on faith cuz it's HBO and was rewarded handsomely :whew:

I'd assure him that if he doesn't like it after the first few episodes, he won't like it at all. It's not like some shows where you have to wait for it to start getting good. If he can't put in a little bit of time to see if he likes the most popular show on television, that's his loss :yeshrug:
