When I decided to propose to my girl.....I just knew I was ready.
I knew that she really cut for me the way I cut for her....
She was really serious about not only making me better but making "US" better and the feeling was mutual on my end.
As far as how do you know......you just know....I know that doesn't help much but it's just something you feel....

She does not know, but I never thought that I would fall in love so there is a possibility of me falling into marriage.
people fall in love and a series of illogical/irrational thoughts and actions ensue.. among them being the belief that you can be loyal/happy/satisfied by one slice of p*ssy for the rest of your life even after age 30 when all puss starts to get 
I think I gave the wrong impression in the op. It's not about sex or cheating its about just going home to the same person everyday. I basically live alone and I like it that way, I am no great conversationalist.
