One of my favorite foreign films of the 21st century...after a few more years, it may get in my top 10...shyt is just harrowing and perfectly acted...10/10 for me
supposed to be a good movie tho, next time i have no kids and wife i'll chuck it on lol the missus doesn't watch that kind of movie

I also like how there's no clear cut good guy outside the one cop. Everybody's just out for themselves.
The accents are sick too. Ben Henderson plays a perfect psycho. This was definitely his break out role.

Ben Mendelsohn is one of the very best actors working today
This movie is a classic imo.
For a while I thought Joel Edgerton would be the lead.....then bam he's snuffed out.
I had no real clue how this movie would end.
Also the title itself says it all when you really think about what all goes down in the movie

if you want to see more Aussie crime movies i recommend Chopper
great movie, Eric Bana's first breakout into a dramatic role. no one knew if he would do any good down here because he was known as a comedian on sketch shows. kind of a true story, Chopper is a real person but he doesn't let the truth get in the way of a good story
