how do i put new instruments in ableton?

i got the cracked ableton and i wanna put some instruments in there cuz the ones it came with are weak

can i add the xpand from protools and all that shyt

if i download an instrument, how do i get it in there

does it have to be vst

how do i get ableton to find it

Its in the preferences. Click library tab, and at the bottom you can choose which folders to choose. Then on the left side, where the tool bar is, it shows "Plug ins" ect. Its pretty simple.
