How do butch dykes deal with their period?

Do they use tampons and/or pads? I don't know why but that just seems so uncharacteristic to me. I'm thinking they just become even angrier and more manly - probably say how it ain't shyt. Maybe they wear 2 pairs of boxers or basketball shorts instead of one. I wonder if they even admit that it's their period or just call it a war wound, put a band aid on it, and keep it moving. Can anybody verify one way or the other?
