How do artists end up having the same verse on multiple features?

I can find 5 plus Royce features on Spotify right now using the same verse. Same with Benny and I'm sure many other artists.

Do the artists that pay for the verse know that they are getting a verse that multiple others have as well?

Do the artists selling the verse just hope the other people won't know or does it just not matter?

Does the artist even know or it just a case where they sell a verse as public domain and whoever pays can use it?

All of these are timestamped

I could go on.....those are just the five most recent. He has another verse that's on like 10+features

Some are copy and pastes by the producer or engineer or whoever has the verse saved. Some are recorded for 1 track/collabo, taken off or the song never officially gets released, then get reused for another song for the artist to be paid. And then the first/original song ends up coming out. And then there's the newer case of having a verse saved and sending it to whoever asks for a collab, but forget that you've previously sent it to another.

Back in the day, people used to be pissed when their collabo used the verse on another track. I doubt anyone cares now.

the ”main artist” likely purchased these with license to release them, they come with the instrumental and verse

it’s like a package deal
