How did Leo and Sam not get a nom for Django Unchained?

Waltz should have been up for Best Actor (and lost) He was more of a co-lead than a supporting character.

Sam and Dicaprio should have got nominated as well. Leo replacing Waltz. Sam replacing Alan Arkin for Argo.

It's obvious that cacs felt some type of way about giving the nomination to a Slave Owner that Leo was playing, so they gave it to Waltz who played a white savior.

Sam L was great in Django but I didnt want him winning an oscar for that role.

Leo should've DEFINITELY won the Oscar for his portrayal. The fact he didn't get even get nominated was a farce. They wanted that "white savior" role Waltz played to be the official representation of the film

breh this really rubbed me the wrong way, when I first watched this I thought,
this nikka is just playing hans landa again...only this time, with a bowler hat and a big ass coat.


And this was way before the awards season - I watched the Oscars that year, and I couldn't believe it when they called his name.
