they used to own MMA and stacked every division with champions. nowadays tho... :patrice:

last night's ufc card was a disaster for them. even in their one victory, Jessica Andrade had nothing for Rose before the flukey KO

can someone explain how a country like America keeps pumping out high-quality fighters but a country like Brazil suddenly falls off?

America has more resources and should be #1.

I don't know how accurate your premise is, though. The Brazilians are still well represented in the higher levels of MMA

Most of the dudes that got washed last night are the old guard that are on their way out. Nogueira and Anderson should have both retired years ago, and Aldo has already made it known he’ll be done soon.

There’s a ton of great talent that is still coming out of Brasil. Johnny Walker is probably the hottest prospect in the UFC right now. I will say the training has definitely stagnated in Brasil, and you’re seeing more of the top fighters go abroad to train than in the 90s and early 2000s. But to make it seem like Brazilian fighters have fallen off is inaccurate. If you look at the Top 10 rankings in any weight class regardless of the company there will be a number of Brazilians there. I mean Douglas Lima just embarrassed The Coli’s MMA golden boy last night, and Pitbull ran through Michael Chandler. This thread would make more sense if it was about Japan, they’ve really fallen off the map in terms of having top MMA talent.

What is that :gucci:

Wasn't nothing flukey about that KO and Andrade was doing better in the 2nd round and touching Rose up

Exactly. Same as those Russians and white AMericans. They're all on the juice.
The two greatest champs Silva and bones have tested positive. I know what some will say about bones but he was definitely using. Wouldn’t be surprised if 30% of the ufc was on something. And way higher of a number before they got to the ufc and in usada testing.

Renan Barao is a prime example of a potentially goat fighter who suddenly fell off at the age of 29 once USADA was brought in. Now he's 32 and on the early prelims

They're all cheaters.

Silva tested postive about breaking his leg because medication you take to recover from that type of injury contains steroids, I mean he's fought 9 people who tested positive on steriods

Jon Jones tested positive for cocaine, USADA did an investigation to show that the failed test came from a tainted supplement and was so small it couldn't have gave him any benefits

you can tell who is on steroids by their performance

Chris Weidman was clearly on roids, and when USADA came he no longer had the same pace he had before and has turned into a below average fighter for the most part

TJ being on EPO all this time, it makes sense because he was like Manny Pacquaio keeping up a high pace without losing energy, he only KO'd Cody because he was getting tired swinging for the fences and TJ wasn't, so when his punches got slower and his reaction time got slower TJ's stayed the same which is why he was able to catch him in the exchange

that Paula Costo or whatever his name is, shows clear sounds of steroid use you can't even have a physique like his unless you weigh 135 he's clearly on roids and never been caught, the real cheaters know how not to get caught

only reason TJ got caught is because USADA happened to test for EPO that time and normally don't, they can try his old sample but that window is probably close, because you have to test at the right time to catch it
