Yup his mother takes a lot of pride in her roots, but Kofi didn't wanna admit it. She went out and told the press his true roots. The whole reason they ran with the Jamaican thing is because they didn't wanna play the race card by giving him an African gimmick. Instead they play the race card by having him be just another nikka who's career ceiling will be the IC belt.
