Been watching some old Raw, Nitro and Ecw shows from the 90s and one thing I have noticed is how hyped up the wrestlers used to be from Harlem Heat to Randy Savsge it seemed like wrestlers at that time were a lot more hyped up compared to now. So what changed why dont wrestlers cut these kind of promos or interviews anymore?

It's not roid rage or cocaine. Most likely those guys are talking loud cause they can't hear themselves, but those old carnies probably had to figure out how to get over themselves without writers.
This means they had to have some iota of charisma, new age guys have no charisma and the crowd isn't that loud so they won't even stumble into talking loud by mistake.

1. This style is passe and out of date.

2. In the WWE there's a lot of oversight. They can't even look at the camera anymore. If they can't even use their own words I doubt they can scream.

3. Every wrestler thinks they're cool now.
