How come homies don't let homies ride with them on their motorcycles?

When they're young, it's nothing to let a friend ride along on the back pegs or cradled on the handlebars of their bicycles. Even when they get older, they ride along in the same cars, even ride along in the same woman, but won't ride along on the same motorcycle.

What gives?
