How come Heather Graham didn't become a bigger star?

I can remember back in the late 90's after she was on Boogie Nights, she was kind of in high demand because of how sexy she looked in that movie. After Boogie Nights she went off to do that Austin Powers movie which was big but then after that her hype just seemed to fizzle away. How come?

I remember after hearing she was going to be in The Hangover I was happy as hell only to find out she didn't have much camera time in it.

Yeah but a lot actress are in high demand for their looks yet they still get parts like Halle Berry and Salma Hayek. And I don't think their talent as actresses are all that far fetched from Heather's.

True... But Halle and Salma have both starred in acclaimed indy flicks. in between doing "big hollywood" movies. Heather Graham.. didn't have movies like "Introducing Dorothy Dandridge" or "Monster's Ball" (which I thought was overrated and not very good, but for some reason the critics love the shyt out of it)... Salma Hayek is a "foriegn" actress so she was always able to fall back from doing mainstream flicks to doing movies like "Frida".

She was hot for a minute but then she spent 1999-2003 starring in or playing the female lead in a string of movies that were either critically panned or box office duds or sometimes both.
By that time a new female flavor of the month came along and Hollywood threw Graham in the bushes.

Hmm, good point. Maybe Heather needs to star in a biopic or something. Because I think she's just as good as Halle and Salma as far as acting goes.

I recently watched her as a recurring special guest star on "Scrubs" a few months. She was fine as fukk. Finer than the other female recurring special guest stars that have been on the show.

I haven't seen "Boogie Nights", but I was also glad to see them titties in "The Hangover".
