How come every clothing line is making a comeback except the black ones?

Puma: Established 1924
Tommy Hilfiger: Established 1985
New Balance: 1906

The 3 brands you just named have a couple things going for them. Longevity, weren't originally made for the urban market, and big finical backers.

Street wear brands such as Fubu, Sean John, Crooks and Castle, 10Deep, etc..... all started out as street wear brands. It's not easy to sustain longevity as a street wear brand. Constant trend changes and over saturation kill most brands shortly after starting.

On the other hand the brands you initially mentioned, Puma, New Balance, Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, all were started with a different purpose then to be street wear brands. Yes, at one time or another the urban community has embraced these brands, but it hasn't been their only means of making money. When these brands aren't popular anymore in the urban communities they still have their other revenues and circles to fall back on.

Sean John is the exception. They realized to stay relevant they need to make business, casual, and street clothing to cater to all areas of the clothing market.

Simple

Black people don't value black clothing compared to white clothing lines, because we have to be recognized among our peers and hope they see that we can wear the same shyt...

I support a lot of black owned clothing worldwide..plus im not into a lot of the so called European fashion

I disagree about Karl Kani, they move with the times, imo.

But in general most of the big clothing brands have multiple means of income and different tiers to cater too all incomes.
