Because alot of cats steal their beats. I know about 7-10 people who I play on my radio station that have used Julianos beats and have stolen em off their soundclick and made whole albums without payment or credit. The primary reason I don't post shyt on there

best way for a producer to blow is to basically be the main producer for an act with potential. Just getting lucky and seeing the talent level of new artists, then feeding them beats as they gain popularity will put the spotlight on you if your beats are really good

It takes an incredible amount of time. To do that. even if you get 1 or 2 artists that you have worked with. When it comes to blowing up it's all about exposure, you basically have to think like an artist on that front. Vybe produced that single for Roscoe Dash and it was a major radio smash for a time. Juliano was one of Wiz's main producers. So they definitely are getting exposure. It's a constant grind to get to where you want to be. Everyone is fighting to be somewhere that's the same for the artist's producers, A&R's etc everyone is fighting to achieve something. but note even if you are known, that doesn't make you anymore well off than someone who is not. It's all about knowing the business and knowing what turns to take.

Because they aren't thaaaat good.

Johnny Juliano spends a lot of time in the studio, and he's a talented musician.. but hes just not on that level
he probably makes more money then some of the more famous producers though

because they make really generic beats that almost any rapper can use, as opposed to trying to make the actual hottest beats

most of their beats are anthems, they dont drop genre bending creative shyt or try to innovate, even dudes like lex or the many other good producers who work wit the big boys (metro, detail, sonny digital, justice league, etc.). They make good beats for the streets/mixtapes, but nothin on the level of those dudes

I agree Johnny Juliano is talented but all his beats sound generically the same. I don't hear any innovative or creative stuff from him. But I do believe he is making his money. I also believe he is aware people steals his beats thats probably why he offers cheap leases.

This is it! Though they're good, they're not pushing any envelope. They're the guys you go to when you want a *insert buzzing producer/rapper* type beat without going to *insert buzzing producer*

Apparently Young Chop been remaking Vybez shyt for a while now. Most of yall already said it.

But mainly in this day and age, producers have to come up with a rapper to make it on. Chop had Keef, Mike Will had Future (Gucci to an extent), Lex had Waka. And once that artist starts gaining some traction, everybody and their mother gonna start hittin you up for work

Find your niche. You can be McDonalds (JJ, Vybe) or Mr. Chows (Justice League, etc)

Generic and cheap or cutting-edge and costly
