how can MSNBC become as good as popular as FOX?

i see they are moving Megyn Kelly to Prime Time on Fox. She is a great host and could be the female Shephard Smith. I am not in anyway c/s their agenda, but for Fox to be this consistently popular you have to say Roger Ailes is some kind of mad genius.

MSNBC is just a wack boring ass channel. its amazing how weak they are. and they keep messing up. I like Chris Hayes but his shoe ratings wise is a disaster.

If I was in charge of programming for MSNBC I would fire the entire prime time line-up except for Rachel Maddow.

Then I would attempt to move away from the DailyKos style of programming and go for a more varied liberal viewpoint (the liberal side of the world has a wider tent than just regurgitating Democratic Party talking points) from the Bluedog side to the outright lefty side.

The left's fanbase I don't think is as diehard as the right wing especially the far right. People like Jon Stewart do good because the left wants to be entertained. Simply watching a few middle aged people talk about politics isn't going to be appealing enough.

Fox News gives their audience what they want.

Liberals don't rely on these kind of shows to get their information. It isn't a matter of the lineup, it's a matter of their demographics. Only way they could compete with Fox is to turn into a conservative network and make it more conservative than Fox and hire cats like Rush Limbaugh.

Look Fox does so well because you have senior citizens who do nothing but watch Fox News all day long. The ratings are much closer when you only count the coveted younger demographics.

If I was CEO I would be rich as fukk and not care.. I would hire some liberal media people to run the sh!t for me.

Time will balance this out. Modern medicine is kinda fukking things up for now... but it can't keep these CAC seniors around forever.
