actually depending on your perspective it is.

American auto manufacturers employ a lot of black americans. Several of my family made a living working in GM plants.
We actually benefit more when an American Auto company is successful, versus all of these foreign brands.
Now you can find foreign automotive plants in this country too, i've worked at one of those myself actually. My experience there though was that most of the employees were asian. I was actually only working as a temp covering for a pregnant asian accountant who was on leave.
