I drink a lot of those Sugar-free rockstars.

I think i have put down one a day, five days a week, for the last 6 years. I had to go to the hospital 2 years ago because the increased caffeine triggered an irregular heart-beat (i thought I was having a heart attack).

I'm sure their are all kinds of bad stuff in the rock stars. Like taurine or whatever, but what about the Aspartame? Sometimes I'll have one of those in the morning and a Diet coke for lunch, but I always drink plenty of water.

For a long time my wife was making oatmeal in morning using like 4 to 5 packs of equal, for both of us. I wonder what I've done to myself. She uses aspartame for everything. Even making stirrfry

I know that shyt gives me headaches...my brother gets em too, whenever drinking a diet coke for example. That's enough for me so stay away from it.

sometimes one chemical on its own has little effect, but when combined it has a dramatic effect

IE ephedrine + caffeine :mjpls:

ever put mentos in a soda, it happens to have its highest rate of reaction when placed into a diet soda

what i do know is that, if there are a majority of people do not report the same findings that you and your brother get, it could be your own sensitivity to something in the drink as opposed to the chemical being inherently bad

I don't know. There are studies out there. Thousands of people drink diet soda like water. I used to be like that. I switched from regular soda to diet soda in the 90's. Last year, I stopped and started drinking just water. Occasionally, I will have a soda or diet soda.

So, my intake of diet soda was probably around 40 to 60 ounces daily, every day for over 15 years. I don't know if I'm going to get Parkinson's or cancer or whatever. :damn: I got a lot of My Coke Rewards points. LOL.
