Asian companies are good at things like this. Some Asian companies also reverse-engineered overpriced HIV meds and sell them dirt-cheap in Africa to people who can't afford the regular ones. It's one of the cases of good competition that actually helps people, which is rare nowadays.

PEOPLE ARE FINALLY REALIZING THAT YOU DON'T NEED A SUPER COMPUTER TO DO DAILY THINGS ON. IF YOU REALLY THINK ABOUT IT. IT SHOULD BE HARD TO SELL A NEW TABLET OR COMPUTER TO A PERSON WHO ALREADY HAS ONE. CHANCES ARE THAT THE ONE THEY HAVE NOW IS PERFECTLY FINE FOR WHAT THEY NEED IT FOR.
