Alright know the results and everything and up to the 3rd quarter right now. I did want the starters to play longer cause they still have issues, but it turned out how it was supposed to. Looking forward to Dionte getting more looks, and just the playoffs in general. Time to change some narratives around here.

Was at the game the other day, and once it was 10-6 heading into the half, the energy in the stadium went into a totally different gear. Early on you can tell fans were in a “here we go again” mode with the offense stalling and such, but once that switch flipped, it never went down. The defense was basically up the entire game and the offense had to catch up. That 99 yard drive where CJ had that messed up snapped but still got it to Hutchinson, plus his 27 yard run pretty much changed everything. Incredible atmosphere and that was the first playoff game I’ve been to, and it was everything I could ask for. Special shout out to Frank Ross as well. Give him a lifetime contract with the team. There’s a reason over the years Caserio specifically has signed special teams, because they are important and impactful as well. That 27 yard run CJ had was the longest of the year, and his longest as a Texan. I’m not sure if he simply prefers not to run, or if play calling doesn’t allow him to run, but hopefully this game means that he can feel like he can truly turn loose when he needs to.

Without funny ref business, I feel like we have a real shot to take down KC, but you can’t have a slow start against them. A sluggish start would immediately get you into a 21-0 hole instead of just a 6-0 hole. I’m as hyped as anybody right now.
