Dude was a "legend" and vet at 97.9. Even had the prime morning drive slot. What happened?

It's basically ran by the same company so they tend to interchange djs and radio personalities.

This is why I don't listen to the radio now. They rarely supprt other artists unless they are being backed by someone who's already established such as Lil Wayne. Plus the commercials are too long and I get sick of hearing some half assed gossip story followed by a plug to their website.

Overall the whole station is gah-bage, if I do listen to the radio its the quiet storm on 102.1 with Marco Spoon's elderly ass.

I only listen when I have to (@ work)...there are too many commercials and I hear the sames songs over and over again..it sucks that 97.9 is only hip hop/ r&b station..

And the ragging on nnete had gotten old years ago..I didn't know she was gone but I'm glad..maybe she can reclaim her identity...Jimbo is my fav and I definitely miss T-gray
