So I been using Luster's pink hot oil as a monthly hair boost, but I know dat it may not be 100% natural so I need alternatives. @MarsPunka @MoonGoddess @Elle Driver @Spotlessmind help please.
Lol ur always welcome to post in my threads, thanks for the suggestion. Shld I heat up the mixture for the "hot" effect?Although I wasn't @'ed, I'll add my $.02 anyway
Organic coconut oil, extra virgin olive oil as they both have molecules small enough to penetrate the shaft, strengthen and moisturize. Mix 1/2 & 1/2.

I dnt have a hair dryer and I thot u shampoo then hot oil then condition?Thank you, K.
Yes, heat is excellent to use: body heat + plastic conditioning cap + wrapped in a towel or conditioning cap + under a warm dryer for 20 minutes will give you a nice treatment. Then shampoo & condition.

Aight I got you, lol yea I spell thought differently than most. @Lithe thanksImprovise - Use your body heat. If you have heavy product in your hair i.e. beeswax, gel then, yes, shampoo first. Otherwise, apply H.O.T, Shampoo and Condition.
"I thot" - Lord have mercy
@Lithe thanks
@Lithe How often do you recommend doing a hot oil treatment?
I'm about 4 months natural and I've never done one, but I deep condition everytime I wash my hair.
