Summer of 99 this shyt owned the south. The whole CMR ridin high off the success of 400 Degreez and BG's solo album, they struck lightin in a bottle with this shyt..Mannie,BG,Juvy,Young Wayne,Turk all in their prime :lawd: Some nikkas think Get It How U Live was better but to me this was Fresh at his apex and the HB's swag and chemistry was too much :bryan:

Give it up for one of the GOAT southern group albums of all time...

i thought the beats weren't as fresh as Juvenile's album or the Big Tymers joints. Same thing On Chopper City In The Ghetto....beats were not as consistent.

but to act as if the entire CMR assembly line of beats/artists/albums was anything more than microwaved music turned out at a high volume is funny.

i love when these southern praise threads pop up. it's like watching slow adults.

Well said, these retro threads are hilarious. I still mess with a few joints on this album, but let's not kid ourselves this joint was just okay. :mjpls:

400 Degreez is still the magnum opus of Cash Money...always will be.

yep. and that is solely because it's the album where they lucked up and managed to get the most pleasant amount of mannie fresh beats onto one disc. it could have been any album. just happened that it was Juvie.

also....the edited version of 'cash money is an army better yet a navy' is better than 'cash money is an army nikka, a navy nikka'
