Every Thursdays on the Throwback At Noon is "Debate Thursdays". Today's debate will be Who's The Best MC pt 2. 2 weeks ago was between Biggie, Jay-Z, or Nas. Today it's going to be between Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, or KRS One. Make sure ya'll tune in at noon for the mix.

Im going to say Kane is based on his ghostwriting on some big records for Biz and Shante.

I think overall, all 3 are evenly matched. I think Ra and Kane are better technical MC's, as far as lyrics, but KRS has as much (if not more) classic songs and albums.

Look at it like this, all three came out around the same time. Once the 90's came, Rakim and Kane pretty much faded out while KRS still remained somewhat relevant in that decade.

I think KRS has the best body of work. Followed by Ra then Kane. All 3 are amazing MC's, that at a level so high it's hard to pick one above the other. Well rounded technically possibly Kane. Lyrics possibly Ra., Content KRS-One. It's a hard question, they better at different things.

:what:Rakim put out 3 great albums in the 90s...Let The Rhythm Hit Em(Classic), Don't Sweat The Technique and The 18th Letter.
