:damn:

So I'm out on one my daily walks with my 6 month old staffy terrier, I'm a few miles away from where I live when I decide to stop and have lunch at some Thai joint. I go in order my food with my puppy by side. I head back outside to find a table for myself and my dog, In which I proceed to wrap her leash around the chair I was sitting in. Now keep in my mind I have done this countless times with her with no problems. At this time I notice a doggie bowl with water in front of the entrance of the restaurant. Naturally I think to get up and grab that water bowl for my puppy to drink (big mistake). Now I've owned Sasha my dog for a few months now, and when they are this cute it's kind of easy to forget that these are growing animals. And in the case of a staffy terrier, build tons of muscle. I failed to see that the chair would absolutely not be able to hold Sasha down in the case I got up, which I did. So i get up to go grab that bowl of water and the second I get up she takes off. Now she has never taken off on me before, so my initial reaction was " oh shyt, SASHHHA" then I hear several people screaming and and yelling, and like a bad dream, you could forsee Sasha about to get hit by car in slow motion. Although my view was partially blocked, there was no doubt in my mind my puppy was going to get hit by a Car, then BAM! A medium size car smashes into Sasha, but due to the shock and adrenaline this sends my dog into a frenzie and she continues to take off at a faster pace. I lose her immediately. I search the surrounding areas with help from strangers who saw my dog running in the street with no success. During the search I let people know to look out for an injured or even possibly dead dog because I was absolutely convinced she was gone. There was no way a puppy could survive that type of collision. She only continued running because of adrenaline and would soon go off into some corner and die. And even if they found her alive, I just knew she would be Injured to the point of putting her to sleep.

I have a propensity to talk to myself, I remember as Sasha and I were walking towards the restaurant I was telling her how much I loved her and would be taking care of her for a long time. Then Literally 10 mins later she gets smashed by a car :snoop:

After searching the area for a good hour, I decide to walk home, already mourning the loss of my dog in my mind. All I could think of is that there must be something karmic going on for this to happen minutes after telling my dog I would be taking care of her for the rest of her life. My dog was dead, I obviously should never own a dog again.

I proceed on my walk home, now the closer I get home I seem to hear what sounds like a dog whimpering, but I see nothing. So I turn the corner to get my house when I see a group of three men chilling under the neighboring garage port with a dog. But that possibly can't be Sasha. As I walk closer and closer this dog is getting more excited, OMFG it's Sasha, she remembered how to get back home, She is fukin Alive!!! :blessed: But she has to be badly injured, no way she walked away from that accident without something broken atleast and there's no way I can afford a costly surgury at this stage in my life. I take her to the Vet immediately, I get Xrays done, NOTHING BROKEN, only a few minor bumps and bruises and that's it!! :blessed:

My Puppy went heads up against a car and won! :leon:

She truly truly earned the Name "Sasha Fierce" :to:
