I give the last season a pass because they updated the animation to look like an actual 90's cartoon (similar to the 2nd seasons of the 90's "Fantasic Four" and "Iron Man" animated shows) instead of looking like an 80's cartoon.

I also sorta prefer the intro from the last season over the intro for the previous seasons.

Ehhhh, I wouldn't call that animation change an update ... the animation was never that great (it's one of its charms), but in my opinion that last season took a severe nose dive in quality

i hav fond memories of this show as much as the next guy but to call this 'the second best superhero series ever made?' cmon breh. dc has dominated here. not as good superman tas, batman beyond, either ver. of justice league or young justice.

None of those you named are better than X-Men TAS.

Ehhhhh as far as a top 10 list you definitely have an argument but the DCAU was goat for not only being great individual series but also Batman TAS, Superman TAS, Statik Shock, Batman Beyond and JL/JLU allll being linked together. X-Men TAS is still an all time goat animation and especially for it's time with the subjects it tackeled. Nothing wrong with that at all and growing up as an 80s/90s kid we were blessed to live through all that.:blessed::whew:

I have to disagree. The 90's animated series pretty much covered every major storyline the X-Men had up to that point in just five seasons. The Phoenix Saga, DOFP, The Phalanx, Genosha, The Legacy Virus, Age of Apocalypse, etc. Plus even though he was clearly the most popular it wasn't a Wolverine specific show. It never made sense to me that Xavier would choose the loner Wolverine to lead the X-Men instead of a proven leader such as Storm. Cyclops I can see not being considered since Jean was considered dead and he became all depressed. Now if Wolverine and the X-Men would have lasted 2-3 more seasons it could probably surpass the 90's X-Men.
