What do you need a fax for?
Most people e-mail documents nowadays.
I use a Canon that is a scanner/copier/printer.

Sending and receiving. I've found my self sending a lot of faxes the last 5 months. It's starting to add up. I email documents when I can, but for somethings you're not allowed to.

I have a nice printer/scanner/copier already.

it never hurts to have one i have the all in one combo and it's great.

For things like this always check amazon for the ink first. The back end costs can add up quick. I always buy printer type devices ONLY if i can find a low price generic ink for it too. If not fuk spending 60 bucks on ink for one cartridge.

And yeah there are a lot of online fax type places that work too.

I've had my HP All in one for several years now and it has never failed me once. It's still going strong.


^You just need the number. Put the number in load the paper, pick a color (black or color) and press "fax". Of course, you put the papers face down (page 1, then 2, then 3, etc) with the type-side facing the fax machine.

I have a cheapo Samsung all-in-one, I haven't had any problems with it. However, samsung made a software update that makes all third party Toner-cartridges incompatible. This makes things very expensive.

My wife had a Brother All-in-one in her home office area (my computer area is dedicated to music), and it took cheap third party Cartridges. I'd recommend that.
