Holy Grails that You Overlooked and Regret to Pass Up On

Man I was flicking through my Spotify and reflecting on the time I was a record collector for a spell. I remember going to this flea market a while back and they had a shytload of rare vinyl.

Anywho, I picked up Brainstorm, Smokie, and the works but skipped over this album:

This was during the time when the vinyl scene was coming into its own and rare copies of records were the cost of a brick. I picked up Super Fly, but by the time I came around to cop, the album went as far as 100 dollars

Has there been a holy grail you overlooked and fail to see the value in it as time goes by?

Should have bought that holographic charizard when it was only a few hundred bucks I mean I was just a kid so I didn’t have the motion because I never got that in the packs. Doubt I would’ve kept it or actually sold it for a high price honestly I think those cards sit like a lot “grails”

Breh that's why I keep my eyes on the prize when I go through thrift stores. You never know what gold you may stumble upon in the midst of garbage.

Reminds me of the time I found a bag with a Wii, controllers and the whole 9 for 30 dollars at the thrift store around my way. Of course I was broke , and like that in the next hour it was gone.

I could've absolutely loaded up on his cards like no tommorow, especially the numbered and signed ones. Could easily spent years grading them and having a crazy collection.

Wish I still had the Purple tape, I bought it twice too. The last one I had popped back in like '02 and I just bought the CD and kept it moving. You can't find it for less than 200-300 on eBay now

I packed a rare charizard shiny, most likely between 2000 and 2002. Left secondary school in 2004 woulda been 16 @ the time so grew out of it also felt like Pokémon had fell off and nobody cared about it. Boy was I wrong

My nikka, I lived in Amherst, MA when the shot was literally getting off the ground. Had a buddy telling me to cop when it was less than $10/coin. I remember entertaining the notion, but I can’t remember ever setting up a wallet because nikkas we’re only really using it for Silk Road at the time and I had excellent plugs IRL
