so they hyped up the dragon for 2 full movies, ended the 2nd one with a cliffhanger and made smaug seem so powerful that had me going how the fukk they gonna kill this guy .. and then smaug died in the first 15 minutes of the third movie
Also wtf was up with the shadow guy and isoc .. these two main villains of the first two movie were just an afterthought

All in all, the hobbit 1 was the best.. 2 was meh and 3 was just boring.
