How did the person living there deal with smell of poop in their house?

You need to have an emergency house meeting.

Tell everyone in the house to stop shytting in the toilet and letting it marinate until they are finished. If you flush after it hits the water, when you are done and wash your hands it don't even stink in there no more.

Should be doing that anyway, not doing that is how nasty cacs 'forget' to flush (as if they don't leave that shyt in there thinking it's funny).
