The fact remains that there is ZERO evidence of this Jesus character's existence outside of Biblical and Koranic accounts.

@Dafunkdoc_Unlimited posted a video of a guy arguing that since the bible references actual real people and places that it means Jesus existed... which is an absolutely terrible argument considering comic books and Homer's Illiad also reference real places, people, or both...

and his video is actually evidence AGAINST Jesus since they are finding evidence for these real people, but not for Jesus.

So I ask the coli, do you have any evidence that the entire character of Jesus, historical figure OR supernatural, actually existed? And please dont post Josephus as that has been easily thrown in the bushes.

but forget Jesus, Let's discuss all the alleged historical figures in the bible, such as Noah, Moses, Lot, Abraham etc....


Did these people actually exist, or were they part of a mythological folklore passed down from generation to generation until it was written down in the old testament by anonymous authors?

Jesus the prophet of god PBUH did exist, and so did the other prophets your listed did exist. The reason being they are in the Quran, and the Quran is the word of god delivered by his messenger the prophet Muhammad PBUH, and it is well documented, and well known that prophet pbuh never lied. People hated him and they still came to him for advice, and help to settle disputes. I understand why the brothers who reference science are having such a hard time verifying these prophets of God did exist, its because when the Europeans hijacked Judism, and Christianity and changed them into what they are today, they may have wiped out evidence that these prophets were of African and Arab decent. Subhanallah the truth is still out there and it is in the Quran, it is just up to the people to realize the truth is right there in front of them.

I don't consider these characters as real historic people. Theres nobody who split the red sea, nobody who walked on water, or raised the physically dead.

Just like Ra, Osiris and Heru, these are not to be taken literally as historic people.

Lies and fantasies cannot exist w/o the truth though so the meanings behind scriptures can be discussed(2 timothy 3:16-17). As long as you can show and prove your understanding of said verses, everything is good.
