So should I assume that you are not an African American? Because it is common knowledge in this country that some Black people passed for White. We don't use stupid terms like mixed, because almost every African American is mixed. Literally. So in this Country you were just Black or White. That mixed stupid shyt did not come from the USA.
Hint: That is why the article says "Black." The article does not say "mixed" because we don't recognize that dumb shyt in this Country. If a person doesn't know what they are then all they have to do is check with the local Klan Chapter.

Colin Powell is a Black man. Adam Clayton Powell was a Black man.

How can they be black if they are 50% black 50% white? i can post several mixed celebrities who doesn't embrace their blackness, who is right and who is wrong though?

From what i know those 2 did everything possible to hide their black ancestry.
The mixed dumb shyt usually comes from some White woman somewhere who had Black children by some Black man. She doesn't want her children to be considered Black; so those women created a bunch of terms like biracial and mixed; and all that those women have done is to mix their children up even more as to who they are in the USA. People being Black was never a problem until White women started having Black children; White men had Black children for hundreds of years in the USA and all the Children were Black.
So under your line of reasoning would every African American in the USA be considered White, because they had some great father somewhere that raped a slave woman?
