American hip-hop recording artist Kanye West founded the label GOOD Music in 2004. Since the label's inception, multiple acts have been signed to the label, including close collaborators of West such as Big Sean, Common, Kid Cudi, John Legend and Pusha T. West first announced plans for a GOOD Music album in October 2011 via his Twitter account, writing: "GOODMUSIC.THE ALBUM.SPRING2012". Later on May 23, 2012, the title was revealed in part with a film, Cruel Summer, which debuted at the Cannes Film Festival. The album was originally slated for release on August 7, 2012, but underwent several delays leading to an official release date set for September 18.

I'm trying to decide if my mild disappointment in this album should reflect how I bet. The album itself is average but again, it's Kanye West and his name alone generally guarantees a strong first week. I'm thinking this will debut lower than a Ye solo album but still pretty decent given that Big Sean and Tity Boi are featured heavily and have decent fanbases..

YM did 140k, Minaj, Drake and Wayne did 350K, 450k and 1000K solo.
And they had 2 top 5 HOT100 singles.

Even Eminem who moved like 800k or something first week and did like 150k with BME just cause Royce was on it.
