Everybody down with BDP has recounted the events of the shooting. Their stories are all similar.
D-Nice got into a beef. The goon Rob-o-cop was going to get him/settle the problem, Scott invited himself along. Car was shot up and Scott was the only one hit.
In the crack era, you could get a fiend to stand outside somebody's crib and shoot them coming out for a bundle of crack.
It's only believable for people who want to believe it, that all this planning went into lining up Scott. And that snipers firing .22 bullets from roofs and windows had Lee Harvey Oswald aim.

I wonder how BDP's music would have evolved if Scott didn't get killed. It feels like KRS was going to transition into the more socially conscious style no matter what, but it became more of a priority to do after Scott died.
