damn, where the hell has the time gone? i can't believe it's been 10 years since this album came out but it has. hip hop is easily a 4 outta 5, no classic here but a very good album. nas had everybody talkin' bout the title of the album and hip hop as a whole with where it was at the time :wow:

the lost tapes, god's son, street's disciple, stillmatic, it was written and life is good are all good to great albums:wow:

I remember when The Gomez brothers leaked Black Republicans and we're going NUTS over it

I remember copping that exact XXL issue. I still have it:wow:

Remember when the album leaked:blessed:


Remember the classic Hot 97 radio interviews where he dissed Jim Jones (Jim Ones:pachaha:) Mobb Deep and 50. He also threw shots at Birdman and Wayne kissing on the lips.


That was a great album, it wasn't classic but it's a solid 4 Mics. Nas's flow was sharp and of course he brought the lyrics. Kanye, Scott Storch, Dr Dre and Will I Am laced him lovely with the production. Will I Am was the MVP of the producers, and this was AFTER everyone was throwing shade at Nas for working with him.
