Ah man...I'm feeling a little burnt out on podcasts for some reason. The only day I could do this week is Wednesday night.

Is it going to be all election dominated? It's okay if it is, I understand it's a big event, but I just won't be interested in joining in if it is.

Good luck.

I didn't ask you to do a podcast a few days after this happened... 1999 Orissa cyclone - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I wasn't there in '99 so I'm not sure what relevance that would have had to me. It's true that NY is suffering. It's also true that many people in NY have wanted to talk to others and do their regular events and/or get life back on track rather than just sit around being angry at being invited to something on forum posts. I mentioned everyone who was on previous podcasts, and this was posted a week after landfall. If you're not ready in between your regular trolling you should have ignored it.

Hmm...depends on what the topics are. I don't have much interest in a full election podcast, but something else might pique my interest.

Where were you in 99?

They should talk to god.

Charlotte by way of Chucktown What
Possible topics could include discussion about:
The Fiscal Cliff
The reality of an agenda to push homosexuality in media
The future of the Republican party
What is the "American Dream" in current times?
The state of racism in our society
Will there be a "Nate Silver" effect on the approach on future election coverage

Just making suggestions. I'd also be down to call in and join in the discussion. I do a podcast myself on Wednesday nights, so I'll be free.

Those are good topics. Yeah, please join us on Wednesday. If we got you, me and Zero, all we need is at least one more person...hopefully 2 or 3 and we should have a good show.

Of course we need to have a general discussion about the election.

We definitely need to talk about the fiscal cliff too.

Then we can talk about the future of the Republican party, the right-wing bubble, and the changing demographics of the electorate and the implications of that.

I'd add the marijuana legalization in WA and CO and the potential conflict with federal law.

That should be enough to fill up a decent show, but anybody else feel free to add topics.

Wednesday the 14th.
