WWE To Drop One of its Themed PPV's?
According to last night's edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, hosted by Dave Meltzer, WWE has been discussing the idea of dropping the Hell in a Cell themed PPV after this year's event. It was noted that the Hell in a Cell match itself would not go away, but it would instead be used as a special match when needed on PPV and would not be a PPV itself. Discussion of dropping the Hell in a Cell PPV has taken place in the past.

That match ruined the concept of the cage, then again the ppv ruined the concept of the Hell In a Cell purpose.

Good riddance. Hate all these gimmick PPVs. Money in the Bank would be fine if it only had the one ladder match. Same goes for Elimination Chamber.

If you want a gimmick PPV just bring back the King of the Ring. If not, just give me Backlash, Armageddon and No Mercy etc. Get rid of this TLC, Extreme Rules bull****.

When it comes down to it they gotta make the ppvs a big deal regardless of the gimmicks the name wont sell the show unless its WM , Rumble or now MITB.
