The cut on the varsity is true to size, but it's not a thick varsity made of wool, it's more like a fleece varsity. It has a bit more room in it. The cut of the item is generous, but not too generous. so it so if you wear a large and want to wear it over another sweater (if you wear a medium in hoodies), it would be recommended to buy a large.
