Live coverage tonight from inside the building, which is completely sold-out. It's the first Raw TV in Houston since the night after WrestleMania 25 in 2009 due to Houston typically hosting Smackdown tapings. After the previous Smackdown taping drew about 10,000 before Summerslam, WWE brought Raw to Houston.

Brodus was then introduced to the ring before Punk came out with Paul Heyman. Since it's a PPV male-heavy crowd tonight, strong applause for Punk while the kids booed him. Not a "top guy" reaction, though. No hype for this match didn't help.

(4) WWE champion C.M. Punk beat Brodus Clay via submission at 3:42 Brodus controlled early on, then Punk slowed things down and got the males behind him. The kids responded with a slow clap for Clay. But, Punk responded with a top-rope elbow and the Vice for a tap-out. Punk then mockingly danced.

Punk took the mic after the match as Heyman got him heel heat standing behind him. Punk cockily talked up his victory to boos and applause, then his title reign, and claimed he will beat Rock the Rumble. The boos and applause grew louder as Punk wrapped up his declaration

It was fake then and it's fake now. They run to make a thread because they were entertained enough to continue to by entertained by making a thread. It's like movies. Some critique the camera work, delivery of dialogue, cinematography and direction. Some like to discuss the funny lines car chases or a bytch getting slapped in the mouth. Some discuss what the critics say and how much it raked in at the box office. There's room for everyone, it's TSC. You can or at the end of the day it's only entertainment.

It's funny how the Punk haters hate on Punk talking in insider terms and shooting on people but that's all they use to criticize Punk. And the Rock haters talk about his corny lines and all that shyt yet at making them up ourselves. It's the beauty of wrestling. The battle lines are drawn, it's Mania season, and we're all ing. Different meals though, we microwave Rock's corny shyt after Raw and yall gotta wait to slow cook the ratings shyt come Weds-Thurs

Too bad we have to wait til RR to be electrified by Rock tho

And we're all insignificant minds until we get enough marks to pay for our opinion and quote that shyt as gospel and use it to drive home an argument

No. You're insignificant when you have to be corrected and told better with legitimate numbers and historical truths. Not shaky internet jargon over how you think a legend should speak to your bemusement.

CM Punk was too scared of Ryback to face him fairly, yet he has no problem running up to The Rock and starting a fight unprovoked? Silly ass shyt. Bad writers all need to get thrown in the bushes, and then they need to set the bushes ablaze.
