I've been hearing that comment a lot these days. Something about it is just so offensive, arrogant, or just stupid. Don't know why just a thought thats been itching my brain all day.

What do you guys think of this comment?

I don't see why it should bother you. Whether the people saying it likes it or not Obama is their president so they are basically just venting their partisan frustrations.
Its also not anything new. Dems said it about GW Bush, Repubs said it about Clinton, Dems said it anout Reagan, Repubs said it about Carter and so on down the line.

Guess cause of my youth I'm not used to hearing things like that. Then you take Obamas color into account and it shines the comment in a different light.

Not new at all. shyts been going on forever and will continue long after Obama leaves office.

Everyday I come here I'm reminded of the fact that some of you think politics and political smearing began with Obama's presidency.

Go read what the Bush campaign did to McCain in 2000, or what the GOP did to the Clintons in the mid-90s. This isn't anything new.

it isn't anything new. but I don't think you can deny that some of the criticism Obama gets is because of his race

for example those that liken Bush or Obama to a monkey. there's different implications

Some? Yes.

Most? No.

He definitely riled up the racists/xenophobes, I'll give you that.

Still, some of you cats on here act like:

A) All Criticism of Obama is race-fueled

B) These political attacks only began when he became President.
