You can tell a black person's mind state when they refer to their own like they're "other".
It's like if I say "I'm dating this hot black chick". shyt makes me sound like a white man. I would only specify someone's race if I'm talking about someone who isn't my race LOL.
You know, I hadn't really thought of it until now, but I don't think I've ever felt the need to mention the race of a woman I was messing around with unless she wasn't black. Makes sense.
I could at least attempt to write off the giant black guy part alone as her trying to be descriptive for anyone that doesn't know what Lashley and that's a stretch. But that combined with the "they wear suits and they're like, "we're cool" just made her sound Becky as fukk.
Yeah, I don't think I'd get through describing Lashley to someone without mentioning he's black, although saying "giant black guy" is really the most basic,
sense tingling shyt someone could say, though. The end of her description of The Hurt Business is basic lazy comedy for people who like to play up how "uncool" they are, Tina Fey style.
