I need help finding a position in my field ( Health)

Im to the point where Im nervous about where I'm going and so forth.

This is a big deal for me. As a man who have been through everything and still overcome. I'm just trying to make the most of it and I know ( to a greater extent) that most of my coli breh and brehettes are knowledgeable and have a lot to contribute

My degree is health science with a concentration in urban health, bioethics with a minor in bio

I have a resume which need tons of work. Ive volunteered and interned so that is a plus, but I feel I need more. Additionally, my degreee is so broad, it may be that employers are discouraged about what necessarily I'm qualified for ( health science)

So I ask you, coli millionares, help a brother out in need.

I know someone mention a poster who is a expert at resumes, pm if so.

Plus, if anyone have ideas on professional communicaiton, networking, etiquette and so forth hit me!

Any help hit me. Don't look at this as a cry of despiration, but a man that has finally learn that the hardest part in life is to humble myself.

Thanks

Just walk in to places where you think you should work and demand an interview. Demand to speak to someone.... this works.. Everyone is on that cyber space bullshyt these days submitting resumes. Use your interpersonal skills and talk your way into this job. Also I think you should spellcheck your resume just in case because you type like Mohammed Ali.

I really don't know much about the role you're trying to land, but what I can tell you is that when you're putting your resume together, write down everything.
Every single thing. No matter how petty and unimportant you think it was.

Find a way to make it sound a bit more glamorous.
Don't lie. And don't be over-the-top. If someone was a french fry cook at McDonalds, they shouldn't say they were a mechanical engineer.
But if someone translated Spanish in meetings with their boss and certain clients, it's not as douchey to say they served as a liaison between internal and external partners for procurement of contracts. Or some shyt. Maybe that does sound douchey, I'm just spit-balling here. The point is to put some meat on the resume. You want it to get noticed, but you don't want to spell out every single thing to the point that at the interview, you're reading from a piece of paper.

Then slowly start chipping at that resume. And have someone else proof read and revise, revise, revise.

Apologies if you knew all this shyt already. I'm sure you did. But the point of the resume isn't to get you the job, it's to get you a meeting.
