WDDUP PEOPLE..I'VE BEEN USING PT FOR THE PAST WEEK OR SO FOR PRODUCTION BUT ITS MAD COMPLICATED. I HAVE TO GO THROUGH SEVERAL STEPS JUST TO FORM& SYNC PATTERNS TO THE TEMPO & I STILL HAVE TO USE QUANTIZE & DURATION JUST TO GET IT SYNCED & IT STILL SOUNDS OFF SOMETIMES...IS THERE ANY WAY AROUND THIS ISSUE? HAS ANYBODY ELSE HAD THIS PROBLEM W/ PT? & SHOULD I JUST STOP OVER COMPLICATING THE PROCESS & JUST BUY FRUITY LOOPS? I WOULD APPRECIATE ANY FEEDBACK....STAY UP

Welcome to the family,
I have tried other DAWs, and my personal preference has always been FL Studio...
People always say Fl Studio "sounds shytty" and that's true with the stock sounds...But the VSTs like Harmor, Autogun, GMS and Fruity Kick have been my bread and butter...
Also, start learning about automation, EQ, compression and general Mixing and Mastering....ASAP...If you are not already...
Basically, Fl Studio "sounds shytty" because it forces you to learn about sound processing...Since I now know what I am doing when I use the Parameter EQ2 and Fruity Limiter and Maximus, I have been only using Fl Studio stock sounds...And they sound good when treated right...
Be creative...
yea ProTools ain't my favorite sequencer. You can always bounce your tracks from FL to mix them further in PT later
PRO TOOLS IS THE BEST HANDS DOWN FOR MIXING MASTERING & RECORDING....BUT ITS TOO LIMITED & COMPLICATED WHEN IT COMES TO BEAT PRODUCTION...I'M ALSO HAVIN TROUBLE ADDING MY EXISTING INSTRUMENTS TO IT...YOUTUBE HASNT HELPED...ANYBODY HAVE A SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM....TWO OF THE VSTS INCLUDE....M1LE & UVI WORKSTATION...SOMEBODY HELP ME OUT

For me Pro Tools is the best daw hands down... i use it everyday at the studio i work and use it at home to make beats too... it may take a time to learn everything, but its really the most complete daw imo!
check some of my beats in my thread theres in my sig, i made it all in pro tools...
the plugins format in pro tools are RTAS (until PT11, now the format is AXX), VSTs dont work on it, thats why ur instruments dont work on it...

WDDUP MANE...BUT YEAH IM BACK ON PT...I TRIED FL PRO EDITION BUT JUST NOT REALLY FEELIN IT....MY MAIN PROBLEMS COME IN WHEN IM TRYNA RECORD MY PATTERN THRU MIDI & TRYING TO MATCH THE BEAT WITH THE TEMPO (BASSLINES IN PARTICULAR)...KEEP IN MIND THAT IM USING PT EXPRESS SO ALL FEATURES ARENT AVLBLE LIKE BEAT DETECTIVE & STUFF....I DO HAVE THE TCE TOOL AS WELL AS THE MAIN REAL TIME PROPERTIES BUT STILL HAVE ALOT OF TROUBLE....QUANTIZE IS HIT OR MISS FOR ME AND I DONT REALLY UNDERSTAND THE OTHER JAWNS...I GET A LITTLE BETTER EVERYDAY BUT I HAVE YET TO MAKE A FULLY FLESHED OUT BEAT...ONLY LOOPED PATTERNS & STILL NOT REALLY SATISFIED WITH THE RESULTS...ANY INFO YOU CAN GIVE IN REGARDS TO MIDI RECORDING, TIMING, AND LOOPING PATTERNS WOULD BE APPRECIATED....STAY UP
