Help out a fellow producer with sampling

I normally never sample i usually compose everything... but I dont have a keyboard right now so I figured I would force myself to start sampling...How are you guys using FL to sample? are yall chopping the samples in FL or another Program? are yall Sending the samples to the FPC or Using Fl slicer or what....Somebody show me the way lol

SliceX has bugs when you clone it but if you just want to use 1 layer of your sample it's the thing to use but...
I would recommend chopping your sample first in Edison than drag it over in Fruity Slicer if you want to add different layers from the sample with different FX by cloning the Slicer.

I chop in edison and use fpc for live performance but i normally just import in fruity slicer or slicex after i chop in edison but to each is on way to do it do what work best for you .
