Basically @KOOL-AID inspired me to get my muscle up. :whoa: no homo but you swole and only 1 year older than me, making me think I can get there too, right?



Ight basically I'm 18, I weigh 140 on a good day, and I haven't did anything exercise wise since graduating High School in June.

What I own at home? A treamill, a pull up bar, and a bench equipped with weights (it's rusty as fukk tho)

What are the steps to getting swole and how quick can I get there :lupe: is P90X worth it? I'm sure I can find it online tho, drop a link if u got it

First thing you need to get through your head is that lifting doesn't make you bigger. Food makes you bigger. All lifting does is helps makes sure your weight gain includes muscle rather than strictly fat. So if you start lifting weights without adjusting your obvious under-eating, you are just going to be spinning your wheels

.....the LAST thing you need is a cardio-style traning system. You are like 6% bodyfat. You are nearly lean to the point of anorexia. Insanity or P90X is NOT for you.

You need to eat a lot of food, lift weights that are as heavy as you can lift where you fail after 5-8 reps, and increase that weight as you get stronger. And if you are going to do intense activity like sports and cardio, you are going to need to eat even more. Judging by your pics you probably eat less than 2000 calories per day, maybe as low as 1500. You need to double that.

You need to head over to bodybuilding.com and check out the "STICKIED" threads in the exercises and nutrition forums
