Does anyone remember those song books from elementary school music class? They were like text books but full of songs. Each grade level from K-6 had it's own book. Please brehs please I've been scouring the internet for over a decade and haven't found shyt

No, probably anywhere between the 60s and 70s though. Our textbooks were pretty old. Pre fall of the USSR old.

I can only remember a few songs out of them. It's not really the books I'm after but the CDs that came with them.

The book I remember best is the 3rd grade book. It had Mission Control, The Rock Island Line and a song where sailors sang "steal away my pretty pretty boys, we are bound for Australia."

And most of the songs were sung by what sounded like white kids.
