HELP!!! For fat folks thread!!!

I wanted to get yalls advice how to work towards to getting back into shape.

And if any other fellow fat boys and girls are having the same problems.

Like the pains in the leg or the short breath:mindblown:

And how to not be a fat ass all around:snoop:

Are there certain pills to take away the pain???

What is your current fitness level? What are your stats? What are your fitness goals?

I use to be 195 lbs at 5 11

But then for like a whole year all I did was party and bs:takedat:


Then one day I noticed I was 260lbs:huhldup::dead:

So now i run 8 miles a week at 2 miles a day when I get off work.
I started a fat burner last week called b4 to help with the extra energy needed.

My goal is to reach 200 agin:bow:

What's your diet lookin' like?

Cardio is definitely the way to go if you want to maximize your caloric burn. I suggest incorporating intervals into the running that you are doing. Are you doing any type of weight training? There are some good threads on here worth checking out, but I'm sure @Malta @krackdagawd @MMSex can give you a quick routine since you're just starting out.

if you have knee/leg issues, id start with the elliptical.

I did the elliptical, played ball like 3 times a week and hit the gym alternating upper body and lower body

i went from 260 to 220 in 2012.... probably took me roughly 7 months.

If i were consistent id probably be like 190 right now because i havent done sh*t since october

breakfast consist of oatmeal and a apple or kellogs special k

around 11 am I will eat an ostrich beef jerky for a snack

for lunch around 2 or 3 pm Ill eat a nice sized meal chicken with lil rice and beans.

sometimes hotdogs:to:
sometimes sandwhiches

around 5 or 6 I will have some fruits and green tea
And sometype of meat for dinner.

And I drink water all day!!!

Your diet sounds like crap, and that's major part of losing weight.


My diet is crap!!!

But you shoulve seen it before I put a stop to all the bad things.:usure:

If I told you everything I was eating without even working out, it would have left you with the :dwillhuh: face.

Count your calories. Portion control is VERY important..

Cut out the processed crap, including anything white (rice, bread, sugar etc.).

Eat more green vegetables (kale, spinach, broccoli, etc).

Don't drink any calories. Stick to tea, coffee, and water.

Incorporate lean proteins (chicken breasts, fish, beans).

Brown rice, whole wheat bread, quinoa, oatmeal..

Half your plate should be green veggies, 1/4 protein, 1/4 whole grains..

Myfitnesspal is a great app to use to keep track of what you're eating. You will be very surprised when you compare what you're eating now to what you should be eating to meet your goals.

If the pain you feel in your legs can be alleviated if you stretch or ice just after the run. I used to run then got injured because of an injury,. But now I have started running again and after every run I stretch for 30 mins plus and the pain has gone away. I stretch the ham strings, claf muscles and quads, make sur you hold the stretch for at least a minute. If you have bad knee's invest in an ice pack within weeks the usual pain will disappear.
